Youth Empowerment Fund

After completing the Academy, each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion, Written Goals, Letter of Recommendation, Résumé, Bank Account (parent approval), Professional photo, Mentor, and peer friendships.

VISION

Here at the Lifescore youth empowerment fund, we believe:

Youth should be making decision that affect their lives

Youth possess the knowledge and ability to be effective leaders in their communities

Youth should have access to resources in order to create their own programs and opportunities

MINI SCHOLARSHIP

Lifescore plan to award over $5,000 annually in mini- scholarships supporting projects initiated and led by youth citywide. Young people in Chicago can apply for funding up to $1,000, three times a year to fund their unique ideas and vision addressing important issues and need.
